Teams Direct Routing SIP Decoder by UcMadScientist BETA v0.1.0 README / docs

Paste a SIP trace from your SBC or the Teams SIP proxy and get a plain-English breakdown of a Microsoft Teams Direct Routing call.

It decodes signalling transport, PSTN Hub region, media addresses and ports, codecs, SRTP and ICE, and tells you whether the call looks like Media Bypass, Local Media Optimization or a standard relayed call.

It also checks the message against Teams Direct Routing best practices, such as TLS signalling, SRTP, the SBC FQDN in Contact, caller ID headers, E.164 numbers, DTMF and codec support. Anything that looks wrong is flagged as an error or warning with an explanation. Handy for troubleshooting failed calls, one-way audio and onboarding new SBCs.

Runs entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Use the Anonymise button before sharing traces.

Supported files: Ribbon SBC logs (.log, any size) and Ribbon LX Call Ladder exports (.html)
